INVITATION FOR BIDS UNDER NATIONAL COMPETITIVE BIDDING (NCB) AND NATIONAL SHOPPING (NS) OF TEQIP IFB Reference No.: NITD/TEQIP/2005/03 1.
The Government of
India has received a Credit (CR 3718 IN) from the International Development
Association towards the cost of TEQIP
project and it is intended that part of the proceeds of this credit will be
applied to eligible payments under the contracts for which this invitation
for Bids is issued. 2.
Director invites
sealed bids from eligible bidders for the supply of a large number of Desktop
PCs, Laptops, Servers, Spectrum Analyzer, XRD, Nd: YAG Laser Unit, Internet 1
: 1 service (10Mbps bandwidth) equipments, furniture and Software for the departments under NS of TEQIP. 3.
Interested bidders
may collect free bidding documents of different projects under NCB from Cash Section in person or by post at a cost
of Rs.1000/- each (non-refundable)
plus the postal charges of Rs.100/- for inland and Rs.750/- for overseas in
the form of Demand Draft in favour of Director, NIT, Durgapur, payable at Durgapur since 26.09.2005 during 10:00 hrs to
17:00 hrs. on all working days. The
bidding documents may also be downloaded from the website www.nitdgp.ac.in and the said
draft be enclosed with the bid. A Pre-bid conference will be held for projects under NCB at the
Assembly Hall of NIT, Durgapur on 06.10.2005 at 10:30 am. Bid documents for projects under NS
will be available free of
cost from respective Chairman/Coordinator of the projects before 10:30am on 26.10.2005 and shall be opened at NIT, Durgapur at 11:00 am on 26.10.2005. 4.
The submission of
quotations, evaluation, and the award of contract shall be guided entirely by
the terms and conditions specified in the bidding documents as per guidelines
of World Bank. Deviations, if any will not be accepted. Bids quoting DGSD rate contract prices
will also be considered at participating bids. 5.
The institute
authority reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids without

IFB Reference No.: NITD/TEQIP/2005/03 The registered agencies
may collect the Tender Forms by paying Rs.250/- for the supply of Branded
Computers and digital Xerox machine from 27/09/2005 to 05.10.2005 (Time 10:00
hrs to 13:00 hrs on all working days).
The sealed tenders may be deposited latest by 05.10.2005 (before 13:00
hrs) alongwith a DD of Rs.10,000/- in favour of Principals, KV Ballygunge,
